The SEO Associate Manager will lead the ShopDisney North American SEO team, playing a vital role in bringing Disney magic to the digital realm. As a part of our Customer Engagement team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a well-rounded SEO strategy to drive organic visibility, traffic, and revenue. You will collaborate with individuals from various domains, working together to create scalable SEO solutions. You will utilize your analytical skills to derive insights from a multitude of data sources, shaping both tactical and strategic decisions. Your ability to innovate and prioritize tenaciously will be key in delivering immediate value to the business. As a natural storyteller, you will communicate your findings through compelling data visualizations, influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You are a self-starter, able to bring structure, reporting, and insights that influence priorities for a rapidly scaling eCommerce site.

You Will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven eCommerce SEO strategy roadmap to gain relevant searches, driving organic traffic and revenue growth.

  • Lead a dynamic team of 2 SEO specialists, applying your expertise to provide direction in alignment with overarching SEO strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate SEO into feature launches, marketing campaigns, and overall site development.

  • Monitor and report key SEO metrics and performance indicators, proactively identifying areas for improvement and driving optimization projects.

  • Champion opportunities to provide insights and recommendations for growth or additional investment to key partners and leadership.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SEO, effectively communicating organic site performance and presenting insights to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Educate and champion awareness about SEO standard methodologies throughout the organization, empowering teams to contribute to the site’s SEO success.

  • Advocate for necessary funding and resources to implement SEO projects and initiatives that align with company objectives.

  • Drive innovation through new ideas, testing, approaches, tactics, and enhanced processes.

  • Nurture your team’s professional growth, facilitating ongoing skill development, encouraging cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to a department culture of collaboration, teamwork, and innovation within our Center of Excellence.

You Will Have:

  • 7 + years of professional work experience.

  • 5+ years demonstrated ability leading search engine optimization.

  • 3+ years of proven experience analyzing data, finding insights, and presenting the findings to internal and/or external stakeholders.

  • 3+ years’ experience maintaining internal and/or external relationships.

  • High proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency in a corporate analytics system such as Adobe Analytics.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard enterprise SEO toolsets.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale is $112,012.00 to $150,260.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
