About the Job:
DocGo is looking for a high-performing Associate Vice President to provide operational oversight of our Population Health division. The Associate Vice President must reflect DocGo’s core values by always providing the highest level of customer service and striving to provide exceptional concierge-level mobile medical services to all patients. The Associate Vice President is responsible for all operations and account management functions of our Under-served Communities business including driving revenue growth, managing a multi-million-dollar P&L, and developing a high-performing team of field-focused and client-focused directors. This position requires a tenacious, hands-on, self-motivated, smart, and emotionally intelligent individual who thrives in a fast-moving, dynamic environment within a complex and fast-changing industry. Being effective in this role requires a natural aptitude for building strong, trusting partnerships both internally and externally.

This role is responsible for leading and managing the entire operations division for under-served communities. Direct functional responsibilities include management of the revenue generation, P&L performance, employee retention, client relationship management, project management, business development, market intelligence, and customer strategy. This also includes partnering with DocGo’s leadership team in the development of affinity/strategic partnerships in service of both capability building and new sources of revenue. Driving and maintaining profitable growth will require an un-wavering understanding of customer needs and collaborating with the Clinical Leadership & Business Development teams to deploy our competitive value proposition and products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic relationships with clients through relentless customer service

  • Utilize strong customer relationships to forge new mobile health services

  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the division’s operations

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Client and Field Directors and work closely with counterparts to ensure operational consistency

  • Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions for consideration

  • Collaborate with our VPs of Business Development to deploy a go-to-market plan

  • Identify new market opportunities and work with sales and business development to bring on new clients

  • Ability to analyze data regarding operations KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and driving the effective implementation of change to correct and adjust performance where needed

  • Strong support of clinical providers in their area, including support in performance management

  • Regularly present the division’s financial and strategic success to DocGo’s entire upper-management team

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or another business-related discipline preferred.

  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience in healthcare, logistics, technology, or transportation related fields

  • 10+ years of experience managing an operation with $50M+ in annual revenue

  • 4+ years of non-profit and/or public health experience preferred

  • Proven experience driving the execution of growth strategies in support of top-line revenue growth and profitability. Track record of successfully growing revenue, managing margins, and creating new sources of value.
