The Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) reigns as the largest exhibit facility on the West Coast, having hosted such large, well-attended events as the Winter NAMM Show, Disney's D23 Expo and Citrix synergy.  Originally opened in 1967, the ACC currently spans 53 acres and the offers 1.6 million square feet of function space and many dynamic features.  The ACC completed its seventh expansion in the Fall of 2017, providing an additional 200,00 square feet of flexible meeting space to our guests.

We seek dynamic and customer service-oriented individuals like you to join our team!  We're hiring many Part Time Crowd Control Ushers.  Under moderate and regular supervision, the Usher performs a variety of duties including public safety watches, event security and ushering of guests.

This is a part-time position and may be scheduled up to 20 hours per week.  A minimum number of hours is not guaranteed


Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is highly desirable"There is additional pay for working the Graveyard Shift: 9:45p.m. to 5:45a.m."

This is a continuous recruitment.  
Essential Functions
The following functions are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed functions and/or may be required to perform additional or different functions from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.
  • Maintain order in assigned areas.

  • Assist the public in locating seats.

  • Prevent unauthorized persons from entering exhibits and/or meeting areas during trade shows or conventions, in seating areas during public events and non-contracted facility areas at anytime.

  • Supply information such as locations of restrooms, telephones and ticket offices.

  • Maintain fire watch during exhibit and non-exhibit hours.

  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Ability to:
  • Communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with the public, supervisors and fellow employees.

  •  Climb up and down stairs, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Maintain availability to permit scheduling during weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Physical Conditions:  Due to the nature of work assignments, incumbents must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
