About the Team: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented eDiscovery Project Manager to join our team. The E-Discovery Project Manager is responsible for leading and supervising projects across the electronic discovery lifecycle, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, analysis, review, and production of Electronically Stored Information (ESI). The position will collaborate with various legal department case teams on active litigation for the company. Responsibilities: - Managing and planning e-discovery projects, including preparation of budgets and project planning. - Understanding the company's enterprise data sources relevant to discovery - Working with Legal case teams on the identification of custodians and data sources - Working with Legal case teams on issues relating to legal hold and preservation of data - Overseeing data collection and data processing and working with the Forensics team on same - Developing and using early case assessment strategies to conduct data analysis, culling and other data management - Supervising internal document review and/or liaising with outside counsel on outsourced document reviews. - Overseeing and collaborating on document review, issue coding, responsiveness review, confidentiality review, privilege review both internally and with outside counsel - Supervising, coordinating and quality control of outgoing document productions to other parties - Tracking ESI through its lifecycle including collection, processing and production. - Maintaining and supporting use of ediscovery and case management systems - Consulting with case teams regarding best practices for electronic discovery, and implementing those best practices, including: - Employing standard workflows for all aspects of the e-discovery process and customizing those workflows as necessary given the unique requirements of each case - Leveraging advanced technology towards achieving client goals throughout the litigation life cycle. - Advising on current practices in light of case law and rulemaking and how to apply those practices to each case - Assisting case teams with Rule 26(f) conferences and other "meet and confers" related to e-discovery topics - Working with legal case teams to identify potentially relevant data through client IT and custodian interviews - Coordinating work of outside e-discovery vendors, including: - Advising and recommending vendor selection and coordinating vendor contact and relations - Initiating, negotiating, overseeing, and coordinating vendor work - Maintaining detailed familiarity with vendor platforms and providing support to case teams utilizing those platforms - Documenting project details in the applicable tracking systems
