Legal Operations Analyst

The Brink’s Company is looking for a legal operations analyst. This position will assist in the support of adaptable and proactive processes, practices, and projects to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the global legal function. This position will help to identify opportunities for improvement, implement, manage, and support those changes, provide reporting and metrics, monitor performance and control costs.

This position will require a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can appropriately handle confidential information, exercise discretion and professional judgment, and work independently with limited supervision or prescribed procedures. This individual must be able to prioritize work and be highly flexible while working in a fast-paced and sometimes pressured business environment.

This position can be located in Coppell, TX or in Richmond, VA.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify, design, implement, train and support legal department tools to streamline new or existing practices.

  • Develop and drive improved compliance with processes/policies and optimize workflows within the legal department.

  • Create and maintain documentation such as system manuals, training materials, quick reference guides, and other operational support documentation process workflow, and system design functionality.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, IT, HR and finance as required.

  • Developing reports, metrics, and dashboards/scorecards to monitor people, processes, and spend throughout the legal department.

  • Track and maintain global legal personnel changes, contact lists, organizational charts, and departmental application access.

  • Provide onboarding, technical and training support for new legal department hires.

  • Maintenance and support of team collaboration and intranet sites.

  • Design, write and distribute global legal internal communications and announcements.

  • Administer departmental recognition programs.

  • Planning and organizing meetings, travel, and events.

  • Performance of special and ongoing projects or initiatives, to include working independently or within a team.

  • Preparing, drafting and/or editing correspondence, reports, analyses, and other communications.

  • Monitor and maintain shared inboxes, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to incoming communications.

  • Support with budget preparation and tracking.

  • Support ad hoc projects.

  • Administrative support and other duties as needed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.

  • 2+ years of legal department experience.

  • Experience with evaluation and administration of Legal Tools

    Experience with process management/improvement

    Experience developing reports and dashboards

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of diplomacy and tact, ensuring confidentiality of information when required.

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks/deadlines and effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, determined, and able to work under own initiative.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint

  • Experience in PowerBI and Tableau preferred.

  • Experience in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Cloud) and a basic understanding of html a plus.

  • Consummate team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to a shared culture of dignity and respect.
