Manager, Product Development


C&I Portfolio Management is a new team established as part of the C&I global product function at the center enabling decisions and driving the work necessary to meet Business Line and C&I Objectives. As part of this remit the team is responsible for 1) enabling cross portfolio prioritization, 2) managing cross-program strategic efforts, and 3) financial & resource management.



Cyber & Intelligence Solutions is responsible for safeguarding trust in payments, both now and in future. We ensure that transactions and interactions are safe, simple and smart. By cyber we mean cyberspace in its truest sense – the totality of the digital world we operate in, both online and offline. Intelligence refers to the use of smart technology and deployment of services -- Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning and the sophisticated interpretation of data -- to better protect and serve customers. C&I helps Mastercard develop solutions in fields beyond payments as our remit expands from transactions to interactions.



Role: Lead Project Manager


Focused on driving the work and is responsible for managing strategic efforts that require investment and coordination across multiple programs. This will include:



• Responsible for planning, coordination, on-going reporting, and delivery of cross portfolio strategic efforts


• Responsible for engaging in the portfolio intake process & identifying upcoming projects


• Developing & presenting executive level status, value, and risk reporting


• Facilitating project post-mortems with all key partners and identify key areas for process improvements


• Stakeholder Management – Operations, Technology, Product & Delivery (all levels).


• Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand product requirements and define the ‘what’ during product development


• Be a passionate advocate of the product vision and act as the voice of the customer throughout the development cycle


• Work with the Engineering team to help define and elaborate epics and user stories




About You


• Experience managing global projects, and executing multiple program impacting initiatives


• Exceptional project management skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in cross-functional environment.


• Ability to communicate needs and schedules to business stakeholders and


technology teams, as well as ensure plans are in place/standards are


adhered to


• Position will require a level of confidence to hold the line with internal teams to provide the highest level of advocacy for the projects.


• Excellent communications skills, attention to details and confidence to take


'command and control' of project delivery from initiation to production


• Portfolio level planning, risk and issue management experience


• Strong relationship, collaboration & organization skills.


• Experience working within ALM or an agile certification

Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $118,000 - $183,000 USD
