Do you want to create magic at the intersection of entertainment content and technology? Prime Video's X-Ray team builds features that run alongside Amazon's streaming content in Movies, TV, and Live Sports to bring fans closer to the entertainment they love. We are on quest to delight fans with new and innovative ways to engage with their entertainment and we need your help.

We're looking for a Principal Product Manager - Tech, reporting to the Head of Product for X-Ray Live, to create meaningful and innovative experiences for sports fans. As a product leader, you will be responsible for creating vision and strategy, building and executing product roadmaps, championing design and delightful UX, and working in tight collaboration with a dedicated full-stack engineering team (that includes CV/ML, services, and client) and business partners. You will bring new types of interactive experiences to live sporting events, in tight partnership with the larger Prime Video Sports organization.

You'll need a strong product management background with consumer facing experiences, the ability to build bridges between content and technology, and be able to balance art and science in executing long term product roadmaps while also delivering through experimentation, iteration, and quick wins. You will be a strong owner and drive your product strategy from start to finish, gaining buy-in and alignment, refining your vision, executing on your ideas and measuring outcomes to drive future optimizations and decision making. You thrive in hyper-growth and dynamic technical environments and are ready to drive high-level strategic initiatives, but also roll up your sleeves to dig in and get the job done in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, to define and prioritize product features, set the product roadmap, and ensure successful product delivery

You will work with teams across Prime Video and throughout Amazon to influence organizational roadmaps and strategy

You will directly own goals with visibility throughout Prime Video and across Amazon

A day in the life

This role will define and continually optimize product strategies, ensuring we deliver a delightful customer experience and drive innovations to further Prime Video's business objectives. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, UX designers, QA testers, data analysts, program managers, live operations and other relevant business stakeholders to execute on product strategies. This role will continually measure the success of their product and use key insights and learnings to drive future product enhancements.

About the team

The Prime Video X-Ray team's mission is to build enriching and immersive experiences that provide customers new ways to interact with the Prime Video content. Today, Millions of viewers rely on us to enrich their video on demand and live game experiences with relevant content at the time they are watching their favorite game or show (real time game stats, instant replays, scene and actors information, etc.). The X-Ray Live team is focused on supporting live events like Thursday Night Football, UEFA Champion's League, English Premiere League, NBA, MLB and more across Prime Video's rapidly expanding library of live events.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Seattle, WA, USA

- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- 4+ years of end to end product delivery experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with product cycles of 6+ months

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

- Ability to work autonomously and drive structure around ambiguous problems, projects, and team questions
