Overview

Examinations:
Appraisal (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of evaluating the applicant's training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any of the following: Investigation, interview and/or application.

Should an oral examination be necessary, the oral exam will be weighted at 100%.

Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.

Minimum Qualifications / Employment Standards:
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent, and four (4) years of experience working in a high-volume customer service environment resolving customer concernsand two years of experience applying child support policies and procedures in a child support agency or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to obtain the knowledge and skill to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Additional Qualifications:
Certification of Typing/Keyboarding speed of 45 net words per minute.

Applicants must submit a copy of their typing or keyboard certificate, issued within the last two years, verifying a speed of 45 net words per minute and return it with their completed application by the application filing deadline.
